Rishabh Pant falls after half-century

India Test Vice-Captain Rishabh Pant made a brave knock in the fourth Test match against England. He faced a leg injury on 1 day before retiring and it was a fracture.

The BCCI announced that Pant’s foot fracture would exclude him from the next Test match of Anderson-Tendulkar and he would only bat when necessary in the Manchester Test, Dhruv Juraral did wicket-keeping duties.

Pant arrived in Old Trafford in Manchester for the play day 2 and went out to bat despite an injury after the dismissal of all -rounder Shardul Thakur. He was appreciated by the mob for his move as the audience gave him a permanent ovation.
