Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah upset spinner Kuldeep Yadav with poor fielding in Guwahati. Poor fielding prevented India from defeating the opposition.
India lost the first Test of this series against South Africa at Eden Gardens last Sunday. Despite the spin-friendly track, they suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the defending WTC champions.
Jasprit Bumrah gave away runs due to poor fielding, Kuldeep looks disappointed
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah bowled brilliantly as usual and challenged them with some accurate bowling. He put the outer edge of the batsmen in danger in his 6 over spell.
However, when the South African openers scored crucial runs without losing any wicket, Kuldeep Yadav was called in to break the partnership.
Yadav took the spin and deceived the batsmen, yet a full delivery from Rickelton was sent wide of the fence when Bumrah refused to dive to save the boundary at mid-on. This happened on the first ball of the 23rd over.

Jasprit Bumrah clean bowled Aiden Markram immediately after lunch.
Jasprit Bumrah was recalled for one over just before lunch after his poor fielding effort in the 23rd over of the game. South Africa achieved success in the morning session with an 84-run partnership between the two openers.
Although Guwahati track cannot be called a bad pitch for batting like Eden Gardens track, still it is not a batting friendly pitch either. It provides help to the batsmen, especially the spinners, but does justice to the batsmen who maintained their composure.
Bumrah returned with his 7th over of the game and clean bowled Aiden Markram with a ball that was pulled off the inside edge of the Protea batsman. First blood for Indians.
