Former South African fast bowler and current Indian cricket team bowling coach Morne Morkel is all set to make his Indian television debut in the upcoming 15th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. The stunt-based reality show, hosted by filmmaker Rohit Shetty, returns with the theme ‘New Age of Fear’ and was filmed in South Africa.
Morkel will be seen in a special cricket-themed stunt where celebrity contestants will be tasked with facing his trademark bowling pace. Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 will premiere on August 1 on Colors TV and JioHotstar, with new episodes airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM. The theme of the new season is ‘Darr Ka Naya Daur’ and features big stunts, tough challenges and high-octane action.
Notably, the adventure reality show pushes celebrity contestants to their physical and mental limits. The presence of Morne Morkel adds a unique sporting twist, as the contestants face one of the fastest bowlers of his generation in a high-pressure cricket challenge.
