Kane Williamson has been an amazing cricketer of this generation. He has been one of the players considered as the ‘Fab 4’ along with Virat Kohli, Steve Smith and Joe Root. The former New Zealand captain recently announced his international retirement. Earlier, he had retired from T20 cricket on November 2, 2025 and from ODI and Test cricket on June 12.

He is already associated with the Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise as it is owned by the same owner Dr. Sanjiv Goenka who owns the Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, where the Kiwi batsman serves as a strategic advisor.
