India vs England fifth and final T20 match will be played at The Ageas Bowl, West End, Hampshire. England has already won the series against Shreyas Iyer’s team India and is leading 3-0. If Harry Brook’s team wins the final match, they will overtake the India national cricket team to achieve the No. 1 ranking in T20Is.

The toss was delayed as the Men in Blue were stuck in traffic and the toss was 30 minutes behind schedule. Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to field first, and he made two changes in the playing eleven, Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dropped, Sanju Samson returned to the team and Suryansh Shedge came in for Washington Sundar.
Shreyas Iyer shook hands with MS Dhoni
After Shreyas Iyer won the toss, he achieved a unique milestone in terms of toss as he tied MS Dhoni for most consecutive toss wins as India captain in T20Is. He and MS Dhoni have won 7 consecutive tosses for the Men in Blue. Iyer left behind the records of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.

Earlier, Virat Kohli had won 6 consecutive tosses in 2019, and then Rohit Sharma and MS Dhoni had won five consecutive tosses in 2020-22 and 2007 respectively. However, despite winning the toss, Iyer’s luck was not on his side; He has failed to win a single game since being appointed captain.
