Harare Sports Club Pitch Report
Harare Sports Club Pitch is the heaven of a batsman, especially in the beginning of a match. With its hard, solid surface, it gives great bounce and speed, allowing batsmen to hit through the line and score independently in the first innings.
As the game progresses, however, the pitch becomes more balanced. Although it does not offer too much bend or seam movement, bowlers can get success by using accurate and variations. It pursues a difficult task, as other batting teams often face a slow pitch that helps bowlers, especially spinners. For this reason, the toss -winning teams almost always choose to bat first, expecting a large total post, while the conditions are in their best.
