Zimbabwe on Friday (October 24) announced its 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 series against Afghanistan. The full three-match series will take place next week.
The first match will be played on 29th October while the second match will be played on 31st October., The series will conclude with the final T20 match on November 2.All three matches will be held at Harare Sports Club in Harare.
ZIM vs AFG T20I Series:
- 1st T20I, 29 October, Harare Sports Club
- 2nd T20 match, 31 October, Harare Sports Club
- 3rd T20 match, 2 November, Harare Sports Club

Zimbabwe squad for Afghanistan T20I:
The rainbow nation recently sealed their place for next year’s T20 World Cup, with the selectors opting for continuity in the squad. He has made just one change from the team that remained unbeaten during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier earlier this month.
The only new player in the team is experienced spinner Graeme Cremer. He has replaced fast bowler Trevor Gwandu in the team.,
The former captain is preparing to play an international match for the first time since 2018.Kramer gave up cricket for golf and moved to the United Arab Emirates, where his wife Merna works as an airline pilot.
Zimbabwe Cricket also confirmed that ‘all-rounder Sean Williams is unavailable as he remains busy with personal matters.’ Experienced all-rounder Sikandar Raza will continue to lead the team.
Richard Ngarawa and Blessing Muzarabani will lead the fast bowling attack for the home team, while former captain Brendan Taylor will be the wicketkeeper.
Brian Bennett, Tadivanashe Marumani, Brad Evans and Tashinga Musekiwa have also retained their places after impressive performances in the qualifiers.
