Additionally, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) and BCCI have also confirmed the schedule of the T20I series. All three T20 matches will be held at the Harare Sports Club on July 23, 25 and 26 respectively. BCCI also recently announced the next Test assignments of the Men in Blue.

Zimbabwe Cricket announces FanCode and Zee deal

Ahead of the much-awaited tour, the Zimbabwe Cricket Board has joined hands with FanCode and Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited to deliver the upcoming T20I series to a wider audience, with fans ready to enjoy the matches on both digital and television platforms.

As part of the deal, FanCode will be the exclusive streaming partner for the three-match T20I series between Zimbabwe and India. On the other hand, Zee Entertainment’s newly launched sports channel, Unite8 Sports, will telecast the T20I series on television.

Notably, FanCode is one of the leading digital sports platforms in the country, serving over 240 million users with live streaming of major global sporting events through flexible subscription plans.

Zee, on the other hand, is a global media and technology company with a presence in over 190 countries, reaching over 1.4 billion people across television, digital platforms, film, music and live entertainment.

Always a special occasion: Tavengwa Mukuhlani

Zimbabwe Cricket Chairman Tavengwa Mukuhlani has expressed his content over the new partnership with FanCode and Zee. He believes the deal will help the T20 series reach more fans and become one of Zimbabwe’s biggest international events.

Tavengwa Mukuhlani said in an official statement on ZC’s website: “Welcoming India to Zimbabwe is always a special occasion, and this tour promises to be even bigger with the broadcast reach that ‘Z’ and FanCode bring together.

We’ve been working with FanCode for some time and we’re delighted to continue that partnership for this major series. The addition of ‘Unite8 Sports’ as a TV broadcaster is testament to the growing appetite for Zimbabwean cricket. We expect packed stadiums and full screens.”

FanCode and Unite8 Sports promise bigger and better coverage for Zimbabwe vs India series

Meanwhile, FanCode co-founder Yannick Colaco said the partnership will help bring the T20I series to more fans across India with complete and easy access to live coverage.

Yannick Colaco said, “This partnership is a natural extension of our commitment to bring every Indian cricket fan closer to the game. India’s Zimbabwe tour 2026 will be a high-octane T20 spectacle, and FanCode will bring all the action live for fans at their convenience.”

On the other hand, Bavesh Janvalekar, Chief Business Officer, Unite8 Sports, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, said that they are thrilled to bring top quality cricket to fans through their newly launched sports channels. He also said that the series is the perfect program to introduce the brand to fans.

“We are excited to present some world-class cricket action on our newly launched Unite8 sports channels,” said Bavesh Janvalekar. There could not have been a more prestigious offering than India’s tour of Zimbabwe to introduce Unite8 Sports as a brand to cricket fans around the world. We will continue to offer rich and engaging sporting action across our platforms and look forward to a long-term partnership with Zimbabwe Cricket.
