Zimbabwe 2025 Full Schedule tour announced Sri Lanka

On Thursday, June 26, Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) announced that the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team would come to the land of Bahadur for a full range in August-September 2025.

Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) confirmed that Chevron and Sri Lanka National Cricket Team would close the horns with each other in five white balls matches that would be hosted by Harare.

Sri Lanka to visit Zimbabwe for two Odis and three T20s

The Zimbabwe 2025 tour of Sri Lanka includes the two-match ODI series and the three-match T20I series. The series will begin with an ODI match on Friday, August 29, and the second ODI game is scheduled to be held on Sunday, 31 August.

After that, the action will move towards the T20I series. The T20I series opener will be played on Wednesday, September 3, followed by the second T20i on Saturday, September 6. The third and final T20i of the series will be played on Sunday, 7 September. In particular, all five matches will be played at Harare Sports Club.

Zimbabwe will use the T20I series against Sri Lanka as the upcoming ICC men’s T20 World Cup Africa regional final, which will be played from 19 September to 4 October.

If the Chevron performs well in the series against Sri Lanka, they will be higher in the regional tournament on confidence and can become one of the two African qualifiers for the ICC T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-co -med by India and Sri Lanka.

Talking about the upcoming series against Lanka Lions, ZC Managing Director Givmor Makoni said he was happy to host Sri Lanka and expect a competitive series.

Next to the series against Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe will host South Africa for a two-match testing series and will then take Protys and New Zealand in a T20I trin series at home. In addition, they will host New Zealand for the two -match test series.
