India had the best session in Lord’s Test in the first session of day 3. Two batsmen, Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul scored at a very healthy rate and never disturbed the English bowlers.
Ben Stokes had to use all his bowlers, including bringing out unconventional areas, but also did not look for anything to work against the pants and Rahul’s dynamic couple. The innings marked his third 100 -run partnership in Test cricket.
Talking about personal excellence, KL Rahul has another stunning hundred in Lord’s. Rishabh Pant also batted well for half a century before he was dismissed on lunch stroke.

Zak Crawley replaced ‘Superman’ to refuse Rishabh Pants to six
Nothing seemed to go in the way of England because the Indian batsmen were playing innocent on day 3, but Rishabh Pant did not leave his natural style as he continued to carry the track forward on several occasions for both spinners and pacers.
He also brought his ramps and slogans; Playing such a shot, in an attempt to pull Ben Stokes, the ball flew towards the fine leg boundary, and Zak Croly set himself to the edge of the boundary rope. Despite earnest attempts, he could not convert it into a catch, but refused a stunning savings, denying the pants to the third six of the pants.

Rishabh Pant has a flare of test records
Rishabh Pant has been in some form since arrival in England as the vice-captain of the Indian team. After two hundreds in the first Test, Pants supported their innings with one and fifty in the second Test in Edgbaston.
Rishabh was probably injured during the Lord’s Test and could not take the field as a wicket-keeper for India, but he played his role as a batsman. He looked well in shape for his 74 years before being rejected just before lunch.
During his God’s innings, Pant has already broken several records in the longest format of the game. He became a wicket-keeper for the first time, who scored 400+ runs on English soil.
He became the highest run-goldter in a single test series for India by a wicket-keeper batsman, leaving behind the choice of former stars MS Dhoni and Farokh Engineer, who had kept the records so far.
The pants now have 87 sixes in their test career and are just 2 sixes away from crossing former captain Rohit Sharma and Virender Sehwag has been away from going to the list of most sixes for India in Test matches before 4 sixes, where he currently sits third.
Rishabh Pant was rejected by a cracker from Ben Stokes
Whenever the Indian team wants to build on partnership, the English skipper ruins the show. He rejected Karun Nair when a partnership between him and Rahul for the second wicket was debutant.
Now, after a 100 -run stand between pants and KL Rahul, Stokes once again broke the partnership with a sly direct hit, with the pants less than his crease. Rishabh missed the opportunity to score another hundred in England. India goes for lunch at 248/4.
