Punjab Kings veteran Yuzvendra Chahal has been embroiled in a major controversy after a video of him vaping on a flight went viral. Questions arise over security violations because airplanes do not allow vapes and e-cigarettes to be carried on board.
Punjab Kings have now lost three consecutive matches and have slipped from their top position in the points table. A major reason for the defeat is their poor fielding and now the controversial footage of Chahal will raise concerns over discipline within the team.
Yuzvendra Chahal is in serious trouble after being caught for his ‘vaping’ act camera
Right after Riyan Parag’s vaping incident, which brought the discipline in IPL matches under scrutiny, BCCI came down hard on such action and another major security breach and illegal activity has come to light.
In a video shared on Arshdeep Singh’s YouTube channel, Yuzvendra Chahal was also on the flight and was caught vaping.
This is a more serious act of crime and is not a violation of the IPL Code of Conduct, but it could be considered a crime because vapes and e-cigarettes are prohibited from being carried or used inside airplanes.
