Yuvraj Singh breaks silence on Jantar Mantar protests; Sends a strong message to the Government of India

Veteran Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh has finally reacted to the ongoing student protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and Sonam Wangchuk over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak that has created massive unrest across the country.

While lakhs of students and youth are protesting in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune and other cities, the two-time World Cup-winning Punjab player shared a heartfelt message, asking everyone to choose peace and find solutions through dialogue. Earlier, Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta reacted to the students’ protest with a call for talks.

The ongoing student protests have become one of the largest youth movements in recent history. The issue has turned into a major political fight; Yuvraj Singh has kept himself away from politics. Instead, the great all-rounder focused on the future of the students.

Yuvraj said that India’s young generation deserves a safe and peaceful environment to study, grow and achieve their dreams. Students are protesting around Jantar Mantar and Sansad Marg in Delhi, there is anger among the students due to NEET paper leak.

The protesters are demanding resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, strict action on the examination controversy, better accountability in the education system and stronger job opportunities for the youth.

However, the Narendra Modi-led Indian government did not listen to their concerns and ordered the Delhi Police to take heinous action against lakhs of students at Jantar Mantar. Delhi’s famous Chhatrasal Stadium was turned into a holding area for those detained during the protests. Danish Kaneria has supported PM Modi amid protests at Jantar Mantar.

The shocking action of the police was strongly criticized by eminent personalities from sports and other fields. Amidst all the tension, Yuvraj Singh shared a message on his Instagram story. He did not comment on any political issue nor accuse anyone.

Instead, the former Indian all-rounder said that every child, student, woman and man should get a chance to study peacefully, be safe and pursue their dreams without any fear. He also urged everyone to come together and resolve the issue through dialogue.

He said that the well-being of people, especially students and young minds, is the foundation of a brighter India. The Crown Prince stressed that understanding each other and working together is the best way to find a peaceful solution and safeguard the future of the country.

Yuvraj Singh wrote on his Instagram Story, “To every child, student, woman and man: You deserve the opportunity to learn in peace, grow in safety and fulfill your dreams. Your well-being is the foundation of a brighter India. Let’s come together to build communities of care, opportunity and hope. Through dialogue we can find an amicable solution for India’s future.”

Manu Bhaker calls for accountability

Earlier, double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker had also raised his voice regarding the current situation. He expressed concern for the students and said that their future should be the country’s biggest priority. “At this moment, it is about the future life of our country. It is about us,” Bhakar wrote on social media.

He said that every child is entitled to “education, security and a fair chance in life” and said that these should never be treated as privileges. Manu also said it was sad to see students suffering and called for greater accountability to safeguard their future.
