Yashasvi Jaiswal Scored an unbeaten century against South Africa during his last ODI but lost his place following the return of Shubman Gill to the team.

While Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma usually open the innings, Yashasvi Jaiswal has struggled to secure a regular place at the top of the order. Yashasvi Jaiswal has played only four ODIs in the last three years, forcing the selectors to consider different ways to fit him into the playing eleven.

Sharma’s recent hamstring injury may temporarily create an opportunity for the left-handed batsman.
