XI was announced for India’s 5th Test vs. England; Arshdeep Singh picked up

Former Indian cricketer Wasim Jafar has chosen an XI of his playing for the upcoming fifth and final test between India and England, starting on Thursday, July 31 at Kennington Oval, London. In particular, Jafar has dropped Paes Spearhead Jasprit Bumrah with a combination of his team for the final match.

India won 336 runs in the second Test in Birmingham and defeated the series 1–1. However, his speed was stopped at Lord’s, where he suffered a 22-run defeat in the third Test, leading England to gain a 2–1 lead in the five-match series. Rishabh Pant has been officially dropped from the final test after fracturing a toe during the fourth test in Manchester. Dhruv Jurael is a possible replacement behind the stump.

Akash Deep, who played an important role in the only win of the series in Edgbaston with a 10-cicat race of India, missed the previous match due to a waist injury at Lord’s. His availability for the oval test is still in question.

Kuldeep Yadav is yet to feature in the playing XI. Meanwhile, Sharadul Thakur has struggled with the ball, managing just two wickets in two matches of 72, questioning his place in favor.

Wasim Jafar named his India for the fifth test at Oval

Wasim Jafar revealed his playing for the upcoming Test match against England. He supported the initial combination of KL Rahul and Yashsvi Jaiswal, which has failed to live up to expectations in the series. Jaiswal has scored 291 runs in four tests at an average of 36.38, including one century and two fifties.

Jafar named Sai Sudhrasan in the position of No. 3. Sai returned to XI, who played in the fourth Test after remembering two matches. The left-handed batsman topped the first innings for visitors, with 61 off 151 balls, but was rejected for Golden Duck in the second innings.

Shubman Gill was placed at number 4, while wicketkeeper-botter Dhruv Jurlel was selected to bat at number 5. The former cricketer opted for only four expert batsmen in his lineup.

Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar chosen as all -rounders

Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar have been selected for all -rounder roles. Both scored runs in the second innings to save the Indian team for centuries. Jafar supported Kuldeep Yadav for the Crucial Number 8 Spot in the lineup.

The former player opted for a motion trio, including Mohammad Siraj, Akash Deep and Arshdeep Singh. Jasprit Bumrah was not considered for selection, keeping in mind the workload management.
