Talking about the second T20 match, India’s women captain won the toss and decided to bowl first in the second T20 match against Australia at Manuka Oval on Thursday. Sophie Molineux is leading Australia in the ongoing three-match T20 series at home.

India is already 1-0 ahead after winning the first match by 21 runs via DLS method. Now the aim of Harmanpreet and her team will be to win this match and win the series. Their only series win in Australia came in 2016, when they won the T20I series 2–1.

After the toss, Harmanpreet Kaur said that this decision was taken after looking at the pitch and weather conditions. He also showed full confidence in his bowlers and said that he expected them to perform strongly again as they did in the last match against Australian Women.

“Given the conditions, we thought bowling first was a better option for us. Our bowlers did a great job for us in the last game and hopefully they will come with the same positive mindset today,” Kaur said.
