All five teams – Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, UP Warriors, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants – will face each other twice in the league stage, totaling 20 matches. This year the competition adopts a two-legged “caravan” model: the first half of the season will be held in Navi Mumbai, before the action shifts to Vadodara for the business end of the tournament.

The team that tops the points table will earn a direct ticket to the grand final to be held on February 5.
