India’s women’s national cricket team destroyed the Australia women’s national cricket team in the second ODI of the three -match series to register a historic victory.
The match between Harmanpreet Kaur -led India and Australia -led Australia led by Australia, was hosted on Wednesday, 17 September by Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh.

Smriti Mandhana won the Player of the Match Award for her valor and said that she was happy to make a hundred hits due to victory. That detailed:
“The last two hundreds of the last two against Australia were due to losing, we were happy that we won the match today. The game-plan was simple. In Powerplay, you have to use two fielders, try and build your shots and innings.”
“Whatever is in my slot, I will go for it. It all depends on those situations and who we play. You know the Australian team and you need to get 280-290 so that our bowlers get additional cushions for those 20-30 runs.
