Rajat Patidar said in the post-match presentation, “It feels great, but at the same time, if you play good cricket, it gives a lot of satisfaction to the team. I think initially the ball was stopping a bit. The way Phil and Virat bhai played the innings, I think it was brilliant. And after that, the way the team changed the approach, I think I really enjoyed the sixes from the dugout and from the non-striker’s end.”
Talking about his plan, the RCB captain said that he just wanted to stay at the crease and attack the bowlers. Patidar said, “Yes, I think my mindset was very clear. As long as I am there, I always try to put pressure on the bowler. And also, I am lucky that the team was there. So yes, as I said, I was enjoying the sixes.”
Their next match will be against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on April 10 in Guwahati. They top the table with four points from two matches so far in the tournament.
