Team India captain Shubman Gill came under investigation during the third day of the fourth Test match at Old Trafford in Manchester (Friday, 24 July). Gill is trolled by fans and former cricketers to not use Washington Beautiful, despite the struggle of other bowlers, affected in the previous test.
England resumed their first innings at 3 days at 225/2. The Indian bowling attack failed to create a success in the morning session, despite all the bowling options, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj. However, the Indian captain is yet to give a ball to Washington Sundar in the session.

Sundarr had just returned from the dressing room, speculating that possible inconvenience may occur, which is why they have not yet been brought into an attack.

India has not done research well in Old Trafford – Michael Vaughan
Speaking at the BBC Test match special, Michael Vaughan criticized the selection of India’s team for the Manchester Test, saying that he denied the conditions in Old Trafford. He reported that the pitch usually rewards real speed or spin.
Won said, “India has not done research well in Old Trafford. There are two things that work here – real quality spin or speed. Kuldeep Yadav should have been played and Prasad Krishna is faster at a speed of 10 miles per hour,” Von said.
“I have to say that Jasprit Bumrah looks fine and playing today. He has not found the oomph that he came out of the surface in Lord when he bowled that incredible magic and this is the speed that Bumrah is not able to produce contrasting to Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer,” he said.
Washington Sundar’s minimum bowling role increases eyebrows
