At the end of their group fixtures in IPL 2026, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have another injury issue. Jacob Bethel is not playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) tonight.
RCB is facing SRH on 67 runsth The match of the ongoing Indian Premier League season at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. At the time of the toss, RCB captain Rajat Patidar, who had missed the previous game, revealed that Jacob Bethel is not part of their playing combination due to an injury problem.
Why is Jacob Bethel not playing against Sunrisers Hyderabad tonight?
According to Rajat, the versatile foreign batsman, who has played several matches for RCB as an opening batsman in place of Phil Salt, has a finger injury. Only the captain joins the team in place of Bethel. Rest of the playing eleven will remain the same.
“Wherever we go, we feel like it’s a home game for us. It doesn’t matter where you are; you have to match your standards in every game. You have to tick a lot of boxes. Bethel has a finger injury. I’m back,” RCB captain Rajat Patidar said at the toss.
