Tata Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, match number 24 was between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS). This match will be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and it will be a high scoring match. MI won their first game against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), since then they have not won any game.

During the toss, Hardik Pandya gave an update on former team captain Rohit Sharma as the opener has suffered a hamstring injury and has been ruled out of tonight’s match. Pandya also informed that Mitchell Santner will not be able to play due to the ill health of the New Zealand captain.

Hardik Pandya also said that MI is looking forward to the remaining matches and will try to capitalize on the opportunities given and win the match. It is a do or die situation for Mumbai, because if they lose one more match, they will be out of the playoff equation.
