Former Mumbai spinner Rahul Char made a big statement on Hardik Pandya as Rohit Sharma captain for IPL 2024. Four insisted that the leadership change is part of a team’s journey and said that the players should give their best on their behalf, whether it is the captain.
Hardik Pandya was appointed the captain of Mumbai Indians before IPL 2024. All -rounder took over from Rohit Sharma. However, the move expressed displeasure among Rohit’s fans, in which Pandya faced Venka and enmity at places, including the domestic ground, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

In an interview with the filmigan, Rahul Char insisted that the leadership decisions depend on the player’s relationship with the franchise. He said that internal changes should not affect on-field performance.
“Life is going on. Every team will have their own time, we will not be a new captain. We cannot tell anything like this. It is about their connection and who they want to make captain. But I think it is important what you do for the team,” Char said.
“Even as a player, Rohit is calm. It is correct until you need anyone. I think MI what he wants, he gives 100% of you and nothing should be seen on someone’s face. Not only Mi, it is any team,” he said.
