Ishant chose Australian legend Steven Smith as the most difficult batsman to bowl in Test cricket and nominated Indian opener Yashsvi Jaiswal as the most difficult to challenge the ball with the ball.
The right -handed fast bowler made his mark in international cricket by challenging the Australian great Ricky Ponting on just 19. Ishant took 311 wickets in an average 105 tests of 32.40, including 11 five wickets halls. Delhi -born cricketers have not retired, but have not represented the Indian team since 2021.

When asked about the difficult opponents in white-ball cricket, experienced pacer said that there is immense talent in the format, including legends like Sachin Tendulkar, Ricky Ponting, Matthew Haydon, Virat Kohli, AB Diliers and Rohit Sharma.
“In white-ball cricket, there are a lot of strong players, man. If you try to count them on your fingers, you will run out of numbers. There are many,” Ishant said.
“You can start with Paaji (Sachin), Ricky Ponting, Matthew Hayden, then Veeru Bhai, Gautam Bhai, AB de Villiers, Virat, Rohit … can take it in white-ball cricket.

Ishant Sharma chose Yashasvi Jaiswal as the most challenging young batsman to bowl. The young man has the talent and ability to bother the bowlers at the top level.
