Jasprit Bumrah does not give you an inch in the nets – Ravi Shastri
Ravi Shastri said that Jasprit Bumrah is working at the peak of his powers. He said that Bumrah picked up his game, whether in practice or matches, especially against the top players. Shastri said that Bumrah is a hunger to prove that he is the best fast bowler in the world.
“When you say they are at their full peak, they can talk on the ball. And with him, you really see doing so. Even in that setup with the root, he only picks up the bar. He is that kind of competitor,” Shastri said.
“I have seen him in a trap, when Rohit Sharma or Kohli or any of the top people comes out to bat, he increases his level. He does not give you an inch in the trap, and it is the same in the middle. Today, he can root for the tenth time, but he is always ready for a scrap.”
