We will put it behind us and look forward to Pakistan series – Shai Hope
Speaking after a 0–5 defeat in Australia, West Indies captain Shaai Hope said that he needed to make significant improvements in the batting department. He explained in detail:
“Don’t think that we have performed a good batting. We came against a quality opposition in Australia, but as a batting group we did not give ourselves the best opportunity. We were always one step behind eight balls, but had to appreciate the bowling attempt. It did not happen for us today.
“In Caribbean, it is always better to chase due to dew and wind factor. But it is nothing I can control. We have some clarity in the bowling unit, we performed better. We will put it behind us and look forward to the Pakistan series.”
