Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) The return of its 11th season, starting from November 9, 2025, promises excitement for cricket fans around the world.
WBBL|11 will start with a triple-header
WBBL|11 It will begin with a blockbuster triple-header, including a rematch of last season’s final between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Renegades at Allan Border Field. Also, in the opening matches, Sydney Thunder will face Hobart Hurricanes, while Perth Scorchers will face Sydney Sixers.
This season features eight franchises – Brisbane Heat, Melbourne Renegades, Melbourne Stars, Adelaide Strikers, Perth Scorchers, Sydney Thunder, Sydney Sixers and Hobart Hurricanes – all competing in a round-robin format where each team plays 10 matches. The five-week long regular season ends on 7 December, followed by knockout matches and the final at the home ground of the top-ranked team on 13 December.
Jemimah Rodrigues: The only Indian in WBBL|11
Jemimah Rodrigues is the only Indian player retained by Brisbane Heat, with expectations high on her return after a stellar performance at the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. However, notable absences include Deepti Sharma And Smriti Mandhana, who is not participating this season, is making room for emerging talent.
