India A must beat Oman to stay in Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025
Meanwhile, India A’s crushing defeat to Pakistan Shaheens has put them in a difficult position, and their last group match against Oman has now turned into a do-or-die game. Only the top two teams from Group A will reach the semi-finals and India A will have to win their next match to keep their hopes alive.
Currently, India A are second in the group with two points from two matches, while Pakistan sit comfortably on top with four points from two matches. This will make the India vs Oman encounter a virtual quarterfinal, as the winning team will advance to the semi-finals and the losing team will be eliminated.
The first-placed team from Group A will play the second-placed team from Group B, and the second-placed team from Group A will play the top team from Group B. Given this, there is still a real chance that India A and Pakistan A could meet again, possibly even in the final of the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025.
