The ball flew towards his face, but Lee displayed extraordinary reflexes to save it by reverse-cupping the ball inches away from his nose. Delhi bowlers stunned RCB from the beginning

While Lee’s catches will dominate the highlight reels, the foundation of Delhi Capitals’ dominance was laid much earlier. Marizanne Kapp and Chinelle Henry bowled excellent spells of the new ball, achieving movement and bounce on a difficult surface. RCB were never given a chance to recover, the boundaries became weak from the very first over and the pressure increased.

Smriti Mandhana showed a glimpse of composure and tried to carry the innings forward, but her dismissal soon after the first timeout tilted the balance strongly in Delhi’s favour. From there, wickets continued to fall at regular intervals, with the batsmen struggling to find timing or rhythm.

Amidst the chaos, Radha was one of the few RCB batsmen who looked comfortable at the crease. He rotated the strike cleverly and showed intent without any carelessness. However, his dismissal in the 17th over, courtesy of Lee’s brilliance, effectively ended any hopes of RCB progressing towards a competitive total.

RCB were eventually bowled out for 109, well below the total and their lowest total this season. This reflects not only individual talent but also collective failure to adapt to circumstances.
