After Litchfield was out for 80, Woll found another capable partner in Beth Mooney and the pair added 82 runs for the third wicket, taking Australia to the brink of victory. Woll eventually scored 101 off 113 balls, caught by Sri Charani at long-on off the bowling of Amanjot Kaur, but by then the damage was done.
Mooney made a steady contribution of 31 from 34, while Gardner’s unbeaten 19 from 14 ensured Australia won with about 14 overs to spare.
