Watch: Washington Sundar shows stunning reflex to dismiss the set West Indies batsman
India had already rejected 5 of the West Indies batsmen in the first session of the game. Indian spinners Ravindra Jadeja and Kuldeep Yadav took 4 wickets. On the other hand, when Justin Greaves and Alik Athanaz were formed on a partnership, Washington Sundar led his third dismissal.
The partnership finally broke. Sundar bowled an entire ball at the off stump, which was after a straight pitch as Athanje tried to close the face and work towards the foot. However, he went to a hurry with the shot as it took the leading lead and reached the bowler’s right.
Sundar crossed his right hand to safely complete the catch.
