Ahead of the five-match testing series between India and England, a legendary batsman VVS Laxman has been seen around the national team led by Shubman Gill in London. But VVS Laxman is not officially part of India or A Squad, Support Staff or Touring Party.
Despite the valuable appearance of Laxman around the Indian dressing room and participation during the intra-sky-up game, there is no formal word from the BCCI that is playing any role. He is allegedly negligent around the team.
VVS Laxman saw the Indian cricket team before the Leeds Test
Laxman National Cricket Academy (NCA) is prominent and is deeply involved in shaping India’s cricket future. His huge experience in English conditions, where he played 34 first -class matches, including 11 tests with India. Therefore, when the talent of the red ball is seen in the Indian camp, speculation burst.

It is being said that Laxman may offer a strategic input to the coaching group or selectors ahead of the five -match Test series starting on June 20 in Leeds. However, he was reportedly invited to guide the young batsmen for allegedly playing swinging duke balls.
Indeed, Laxman was recently in Switzerland for a conference, and then he suddenly circled for London. Although mythological Indian batsmen can leave in a day or two, it is confirmed that the BCCI has not signed them in any capacity for the ongoing tour of England.

A BCCI source was said by Cricbuzz, “he has gone there for any other purpose, not to any work with the Indian team. He traveled from Lausanne to London.”
Another source said, “The goal is to win in England, and he might have talked to the coaches and selectors present here and may also participate in the intra-skava game. But he did not play any official role with this team.”
VVS Laxman had allegedly visited Switzerland to attend a conference. Another source said, “He went to Switzerland and just stayed in London to spend time with boys. It was always part of his plan.”

Gautam Gambhir to re -include India squad before the first Test
Meanwhile, the presence of VVS Laxman around the Indian team in London has created some curiosity, especially since the head coach Gautam Gambhir is currently with the squad. After recently, after being hospitalized after a heart attack, Gambhir returned to Delhi to stay with his mother.
A source close to Gambhir was told by Cricbuzz, “He would definitely re -connect the team before the first test.” He has advised doctors about his mother’s status, which has improved, although it remains in the ICU. But he will soon plan for his comeback. ,
After completing his practice match against India A at Bekenham, the Indian team will take a break on June 16 and then visit Leeds on 17 June, as they will face Ben Stokes and his England team at the five -match Test series opener in Headingley in Leeds on 20 June.
