The President of the Cricket West Indies (CWI), Kishore Shalo, has called for an emergency summit in Trinidad, which will include many great sports like Sir Vivian Richards, as they solve the growing challenges and implement structural reforms.
The West Indies have been badly suffering in recent times, as they have been seriously incompatible in the recent ICC tournament and now bilateral. The West Indies performance in Test cricket has seen a major decline, but their white balls performance have also not been convinced in the recent bilateral series.
Therefore, CWI has requested a cricket strategy and an emergency meeting of the Acting Committee, which began in Trinidad, which has begun to face the challenges faced by the West Indies in cricket and implement immediate structural reforms.

It will be a two -day summit, which will be held at Hyatt Regency Trinidad, which brought together the members of the committee, including the former West Indies Great like Desmond Hens, Shivnarine Chanderpall and Ian Bradshow.
Legends of West Indies Cricket, Sir Vivian Richards and Sir Clive Lloyd have been called as a special invitation, while former West Indies captain and now senior male players and coaching staff headed by coach Daran Sammy will also attend the meeting.
“This summit represents a significant twist point for West Indies cricket. We hope to engage in frank, honest and resolution-oriented discussions with coaches, former and current players and administrators,” he said.
The CWI director said, “This is not about quick reforms, but to identify the structural reforms required to run the necessary changes … and require strategic short and long -term initiatives.”

The two-day summit is also described as important by the CEO of CWI, as he said, “This emergency strategic meeting is not just a response, but an essential intervention … we expect deep, transparent conversations … and what we expect to emerge is a serious, organization-wide commitment.”
“As administrators, we are firm to support these reforms with essential resources, infrastructure and leadership. West Indies cricket is no less,” he said, quoting ANI.
The CWI has agreed that the implementation of the results from the summit will begin immediately, with the update of progress, because the changes will be marked at all levels of West Indies cricket.
Day One team focuses on “high performance strategy and structural reforms” with panel discussions on the challenges of performance and immediate correction strategies.
Day to “Player-Centenary High-Performance Solutions” will be transferred, allowing current players and employees to openly talk about intervals and ambitions. West Indies coach Daren Sammy will lead a session, addressing the team’s brand of cricket and short -term difficulties.
