Virat Kohli’s return date announced

India’s preparations for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Afghanistan have suffered a major blow as Virat Kohli has reportedly been advised to take at least two weeks of complete rest due to his hamstring injury.

Kohli is currently recovering from his hamstring injury suffered during IPL 2026. The Indian Express suggested that there was a possibility that the right-handed batsman could regain match fitness in time for the third and final ODI against Afghanistan on 20 June.
