After the retirement of Virat Kohli from Test cricket, 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi attracted the attention of fans during the first youth test between India U19 and England U19. The young batsman was seen wearing Jersey number 18, who is worn in his international career and by Kohli in the IPL.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi gets the youngest to take a wicket in youth testing history
Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a half -century in the first youth test. After scoring just 14 in the first innings, the 14 -year -old scored 56 runs in 44 balls in the second innings, including nine fours and one six. He arrived in half a century in just 39 balls before he was dismissed by Archie Vaughan.
Earlier in the match, Suryavanshi made history by becoming the youngest player to take wickets in a young test in just 14 years and 107 days. He also claimed the wicket of England U19 captain Hamza Sheikh and ended with the bowling figures of 2 for 35 out of 12 overs.
The match between India U19 and England U19 ended in a draw. India scored 540 runs in their first innings before taking out the English side for 439. Visitors scored 248 runs in their second innings, while England reached 270/7 by the end of playing.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi has become one of the most exciting young talents in India. He scored the fastest century by an Indian in the history of IPL, scoring 101 off just 38 balls for Rajasthan Royals (RR) against Shubman Gill’s Gujarat Titans (GT).
The left -handed batsman scored 252 runs in seven matches, which was at a strike rate of 206.55. His explosive batting received him the “Super Striker of the season” award.
Suryavanshi scored 355 runs in the five-match young ODI series against England U19, playing an important role in India’s 3–2 victory. He gave a century in a century in the fourth ODI at Worster. He will be seen in action against England starting on July 20 during the second youth test.
