Young Indian batsman Rinku Singh was often trolled to chase Virat Kohli for bats during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Now, beyond the Asia Cup 2025, Rinku Singh has opened up how he felt irritated by seeing his video with Virat Kohli.
The IPL has often produced unforgettable moments, but an incident associated with Rinku and Kohli would have drew more attention than the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman. In the last season, Rinku’s videos repeatedly ask Kohli for bats, which spread like wildfire on social media.

All this began when Rinku gifted him by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) icon. Therefore, the Indian batsman once again turned into Kohli. However, the former Indian captain initially refused to give another one to Rinke, but eventually handed over to another.

It was a mild exchange between the two batsmen, but it quickly became a sensation on social media, in which fans trolled him to be after Kohli for bats all the time. The left -handed batsman has now revealed that the cameraman continuously focused on him, making the situation worse.
Later, a common conversation between Rinku and Kohli became a meme material, which felt the Uttar Pradesh cricketer that the images of him and even the RCB icon were wrongly dragged into unnecessary social media drama.

However, in the IPL 2025 season, Rinku was not seen much with Kohli, but another youth from Uttar Pradesh, another youth of Swastik Chikara quickly attracted attention. Chikara became a matter of social media after being continuously seen behind the former captain of India.

The Indian batsman revealed that he managed to get two bats in Indian cricket, MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma during IPL 2025.
He said, “I was not seen with Virat Bhai this time (IPL 2025). I got Mahi Bhai’s bat and Rohit Bhai’s bat. It is a big thing for me to get bats from such players.”
However, Rinku does not only keep all bats for himself, but often gives them gifts to players who actually need them, especially those who are not contracts or sponsors.
He signed, saying, “I have given a lot of bats myself. I give bats to those who need them, but those who have contracts do not do it.”
