The Delhi Premier League was inaugurated in 2024, and marked the beginning of the tournament, characterizing many players from the Delhi Cricket Association. Many talents playing in the Delhi Premier League were promoted to the Indian Premier League after his strong performance in DPL.

Indian veteran Virat Kohli’s nephew Ariver Kohli is part of the initial draft for the second season in DPL. Virat Kohli’s record in first -class cricket
Virat Kohli has a great record in first -class cricket, as the batsman is known for a good record in the longest format of the game. He has played 123 Test matches for India, while in his entire first -class career, he has acted in 156 matches.
