Virat Kohli copied Shreyas Iyer
As the Indian players took the field at the Vadodara Cricket Association Stadium in Vadodara, captain Shubman Gill, who was making his ODI captaincy debut on home soil, led the team and was followed by vice-captain Shreyas Iyer and batting great Kohli.
As he walked out for the national anthem, Kohli followed Shreyas Iyer in the queue. Pointing towards Shreyas, Kohli started copying Shreyas’ walking style in front of Rohit Sharma, who was following him.
Virat lifted his shoulders, stuck out his chest and walked like an Indian vice-captain with his shoulders hunched back. This was captured on camera before the game.
