Kohli shines, RCB wins IPL title twice in a row
The appearance at the airport came soon after one of the most memorable moments of Kohli’s illustrious career. Royal Challengers Bangalore lost Shubman Gill’s Side Gujarat Titans (GT) By winning by five wickets in the IPL 2026 final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, they became the third franchise in the history of the tournament to win consecutive IPL titles.
Kohli chased the target by scoring a brilliant unbeaten 75 runs in 42 balls. His innings included nine fours and three sixes and he displayed remarkable composure under pressure to guide RCB to victory. This performance earned him the Player of the Match award and marked the beginning of another excellent IPL campaign.
