Legendary Indian batsman Virat Kohli has now overtaken former captain Sourav Ganguly in the list of new ODI records as he reached Baroda to play his 309th ODI in the series opener against New Zealand.
India is scheduled to start the ODI series against New Zealand from Sunday, January 11 at the Vadodara Cricket Association Stadium in Vadodara. This match will be the last ODI series for Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli before going on a long break before the IPL.

Virat Kohli surpasses Sourav Ganguly in a new ODI record

Despite retiring from Test and T20, Virat is in search of a big international record

With 27975 runs in his international career, Virat Kohli is now the third highest run-scorer in international cricket across all formats. He is officially the second highest run-scorer in international cricket history, just 42 runs behind legendary Sri Lankan batsman Kumar Sangakkara.
