Indian legend Virat Kohli’s 83rd international century helped him overtake Shubman Gill in the ICC men’s ODI rankings. He is just 32 points behind his top-ranked teammate Rohit Sharma.
India faced South Africa in the first ODI match in Ranchi. Virat Kohli’s brilliant comeback century broke many records as he scored his 7000th century in international cricket. His brilliant inning of 135 runs gave India an early lead in the series.

Virat Kohli’s 52nd ODI century helped him overtake Indian captain Shubman Gill in the ODI rankings. He climbed several places and reached fourth place.
Currently, Virat Kohli, who held the top spot for a long time in the last decade, has never held the position after Babar Azam replaced him in 2021.
As of now, Rohit Sharma has made his mark on the top, with Daryl Mitchell and Ibrahim Zadran being the other two on the list. Kohli is now just 32 points behind Rohit to take the top spot in the ICC ODI rankings.
