It began when Stark bowled a sharp bouncer, which failed to join with Pollard, then the words were exchanged between the two. On the next delivery, Pollard withdrew as if Starc was charging, but Pesar went ahead and fired the ball near the batsman’s feet.
Pollard reacted by throwing his bat under Stark’s direction. It slipped from her hands and landed harmlessly towards the leg without contact. Stark later rejected Pollard and taunted him. Virat Kohli intervened to reduce the situation, but Pollard was visually disturbed.

Also with Mitchell Starc – Kieron Pollard
Kieron Pollard said that the franchise allows cricket players to understand each other beyond the game. Pollard insisted that everything is fine between him and Mitchell Starc.
“Michelle is also against Stark, recently coming against him, playing against him in international cricket. Again, we all have examples, and the way franchise has also been brought about cricket, you get an opportunity to sit with these people and understand them from a human level instead of only a human level, when you are coming against that kind of spare.”
He said, “Again, everything is well, everything is fine. We worked hard at that time. The most important thing is that Mumbai Indians won that game.”
