After India defeated South Africa in the series decider in Visakhapatnam, Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh was seen recording Virat Kohli’s reactions as he said that if a little more effort had been put into chasing the runs, Kohli would have scored his third century in the series, to which the Indian legend gave another strange reply.
India came out of the doldrums of their tragic defeat in the Test series after winning the ODI series 2-1. The ODI series was thrilling and exciting in every sense, with a total of 6 centuries scored along with countless half-centuries in the 3-match series.
This series continues to be the story of an immaculate batting saga, but there have also been some remarkable comebacks from the bowlers from time to time. India had to face a crushing defeat in Raipur, but then won the series by 9 wickets in Visakhapatnam.
In the decisive ODI, Indian legend Kohli along with centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal led India to victory. Another legend Rohit Sharma also played an inning of 75 runs. He took his total number of runs in the series to 146.
After the match was over, Arshdeep Singh went live with Virat Kohli from the sidelines and a unique picture between the two was recorded in the viral video.
Arshdeep Singh said, “Runs were less, otherwise you would have scored your third century today.”
Virat Kohli replied, ‘Thank God he won the toss, otherwise you would have completed your century with the ball due to dew.’ After this both the players started laughing loudly.
