Only two other batsmen, Shikhar Dhawan and David Warner, have scored so many runs as an opener, but they have done so while playing for multiple franchises.

Kohli has become the first player to score more than 500 runs for the ninth time in the history of IPL. He is behind only great Indian batsmen KL Rahul and David Warner, who also have 500+ scores seven times in the history of IPL.

Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal guide RCB with another half-century partnership
Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal are contributing well to RCB’s success with the bat. Along with individual runs, both these players together have contributed to many big partnerships, including many century partnerships.
Another such promising partnership came in this game when Jacob Bethel was out early in the power play once again. Padikkal could not reach the half-century, but along with Kohli, he took RCB beyond the century.
