Australian cricketer Steve Smith has raised Sachin Tendulkar as the biggest batsman so far and settled one of the most debated questions of cricket. In a rapid-fire interview with BBC Sport Wales, Smith ignored Virat Kohli and other cricketers, and chose Tendulkar for his remarkable impact on the game.

Sachin Tendulkar played 664 matches for India in his 24 -year international career. He is the highest run-scorer in international cricket with 34,357 runs and also took 201 wickets. Tendulkar has recorded the most matches and has been scored in both tests and ODIs.
Jacques Kallis represented South Africa in 519 matches in 19 years, scored 25,534 runs and claimed 577 wickets. All -rounder scored more than 10,000 runs and more than 250 wickets in both Test and ODI formats.
