Former India all -rounder and World Cup winner Madan Lal has urged Virat Kohli to rethink his retirement from Test cricket during the five -match testing series against England. His comments came after India’s defeat in the third Test at Lord’s, which left him 1–2 in the series.
India There was a chance to go up 2–1 in the test series, but missed the opportunity after failing to chase a target of 193 runs in the fourth innings at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Virat Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket just a month before the tour of England, which ends a luxurious red-ball career.

“Virat Kohli’s passion was unmatched for Indian cricket. It is my wish that he should return to test cricket after retirement. There is nothing wrong in returning. If not in this series, he should return to the next,” Madan Lal told CricketPridata.
“From my point of view, he should reverse his retirement. Because he can easily play for 1-2 years. It is about your experience to pass your experience for the youth. You have left it. It’s not too late. Please come back,” he said.
