Amid his comeback to international cricket, Virat Kohli has been the worst batsman for India with the second most number of wickets for the Men in Blue in the history of cricket combining all three formats. Kohli reached this unwanted achievement after being out for zero twice in Australia.
India failed to dominate the Australian team in the first ODI in Perth. Experienced batsmen Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli made their much-awaited return to the format and were out for just 8 and 0 runs respectively. However, when India returned to Adelaide for the second ODI, there were high expectations from Kohli again.

Great Indian batsman Virat Kohli has reached a new milestone after returning to international cricket. He has dominated the white-ball format for a long time and has appeared in 552* matches for India across all three formats of the game since his debut in 2008.
Virat Kohli, who was out for a duck for the first time on Australian soil in the first ODI in Perth, continued his poor form with another duck in Adelaide. With the dismissal of Xavier Bartlett, Kohli now has 40 wickets in his career, which is the joint second highest score for any Indian player in international cricket.
He joins his former Delhi teammate Ishant Sharma in the list, who also holds the record of being out on a duck 40 times. 11 batsmen in 199 innings. This will be the most unwanted record for Kohli in his illustrious career.
