Kohli’s important advice to net bowlers
Kohli’s advice to the net bowlers was very simple. He stressed that scoring runs is part of the game, but bowling with conviction is everything.
The modern batting icon was heard saying, “It doesn’t matter if you get hit, but with conviction, that I am not bowling the ball that I have to bowl, I am not bowling the ball that the batsman is making me bowl (Even if you get hit, it is okay). But you must have the conviction that you are bowling the ball that you want to bowl, not what the batsman wants to bowl to you.”

Kohli’s great form in 50 over format
Kohli looked in great form in the current three-match ODI series. In the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26, the Delhi batsman scored 131 against Andhra and 77 against Gujarat and looked comfortable against both fast bowlers and spinners.
Now playing only one format for India, Kohli’s recent performance clearly shows how much he is enjoying his game. In the ODI series against South Africa, he was named Player of the Series after scoring 302 runs at an excellent average of 151 in just three matches.
It is noteworthy that Kohli has an excellent record in ODIs against New Zealand. In 33 matches, he has scored 1,657 runs at an average of 55.23, making him one of the biggest threats for India in the ODI series.
