Virat Kohli once again disappointed with the bat during the ongoing second ODI between India and Australia at the Adelaide Oval on Thursday (23 October).
The former India captain started the current tour with a duck off eight balls in the first ODI. He chased a wide delivery outside the off stump from Mitchell Starc and the ball went straight to the fielder at backward point.

Talking about the match, India’s batting once again got off to a bad start after Australia captain Mitchell Marsh decided to bowl first after winning the toss. Captain Shubman Gill and Virat were dismissed by Xavier Bartlett in the 7th over.
At the time of writing the report, India’s score was 33/2 after 11 overs. Former captain Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer were batting in the middle for the Men in Blue. The responsibility of taking the team to a big score will be on the experienced pair. After losing the first ODI, India will have to win the current match at any cost to keep the three-match series intact.
