New Delhi. Pakistan cricket team is surrounded in controversies after being out of T20 World Cup. Now this team and captain Babar Azam are also being accused of match fixing. This allegation has not been made by any foreigner, but by a Pakistani journalist. The Pakistani team had lost to America and India in the T20 World Cup. Due to this Pakistan could not qualify for Super-8.
A video is going viral on social media, in which Babar Azam is being accused of match fixing. The video is of Pakistani journalist Mubashir Luqman. Mubashir links Pakistan’s defeat with the expensive gifts received by Babar Azam.
In the video, Mubashir Luqman says, ‘A few days ago I saw that Babar had an Audi e-tron. It is a very nice car. Babar Azam said that my brother has given the car. So I thought that Babar’s brother must be doing some big work due to which he is gifting a car worth Rs 7-8 crores. But when I inquired, I came to know that Babar’s brother does not do any such work.
These are serious allegations on Babar Azam from senior journalist Mubashir Luqman.
Investigation should be done by PCB.
