Varun Chakravarthy suffered an injury during the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026) season against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He bowled some balls despite the injury. During the season, it was reported that the veteran spinner suffered a leg injury and a hairline fracture. Varun was seen in pain during the match against Delhi Capitals and somehow completed his bowling quota. Questions were raised against the franchise as they had put the bowler’s fitness at risk despite knowing about the injury.
